My final major project was creating a 32-page book about Franz Joseph and the Fall of the Habsburg Monarchy. For this book I used my own photography (photos I took in Vienna and other places e.g. Budapest) and other free source material, for the digital collages on each page. The book starts in 1848, when Franz Joseph, becomes Emperor of Austria and finishes at the end of the First World War. The book also explores Franz Joseph’s family and events leading up to the demise of the monarchy.
